What kind of collections are self published book signing?
I do not know of any libraries that autograph books will be published oneself. I'm assuming that borders and Barnes and Noble not because they want to sell books published traditionally. So if you want to keep a book signing, what should I make arrangements with? My book is an urban fantasy (it is a real world and mythical creatures. Element fantastic magic). I need good answers please.
Me dare say, hehe, but I heard a PublishAmerica (vanity press) author said he could make an autograph session with a local bookstore, because fantasy sold very well locally, and wanted to quickly schedule a book signing. The downside was the editor. The perpetrator ordered several books for his firm and the publisher was behind of them and delivered the author felt the pressure of the library I wanted to quickly set a firm, and she was afraid that they apply. There are many PublishAmerica problems, not even think of them as your editor, or you will regret and waste of his book on them. I have also heard about the authors reported that are able to get the signatures and get one or two of your books in stock at local bookstores. It is necessary to come to visit all the bookstores and convince the manager to perform the book and perhaps an autograph session. If you have a local fan base is ready and willing to show up and buy your book, I can imagine that his job easier, do not know for sure if. This is not entirely impossible, but we have to go out and convince each local library. Some libraries are open to local authors and do not forget small, independent bookstores. There are other places you can get autographs, including coffee Shoppes. There are local writer in my city that is the signature have started a glass factory in the region. Take the case you can get. The problem I can foresee is that, as an unknown, self-published, no heard of you or your book, then you might have a problem bringing people to attend a book signing. Unfortunately, one of the dangers of self-publishing. See some writers' websites and message boards to other ideas. absolutewrite.com / forums has some published authors. Good luck.
